VitrailStAubinMethodist
Hand-crafted in the beautiful harbour village of St Aubin in the island of Jersey.
St Aubin Methodist Church is situated alongside the harbour on St Aubin’s Bulwarks. This church rightly claims to have the best view of any Methodist church - straight across the pretty harbour and out to sea. This church is at the heart of the community, with frequent music concerts and a warm welcome.
The original chapel was built in 1817 and is to the rear of the newer church which was built in 1868. It was remodeled in 1995, including new stained glass windows.
This piece is inspired by the south-facing stained glass windows, hand crafted with enamel, acrylics and wax. Framed in a oak finish wood frame. The framed piece measures 17.3cm x 17.3cm.
