Mont Orgueil Castle is one of the world’s finest examples of a medieval castle and has overlooked the beautiful fishing village of Gorey for over 800 years.
It is well worth visiting and Jersey Heritage makes history come to life here. It is great fun for children as well, including dressing-up in period costumes. Mont Orgueil Castle protected Jersey against the French invasion over 600 years ago. You can explore the network of staircases and secret rooms to discover hidden treasures and breathtaking views.
Hand-crafted in the beautiful harbour village of St Aubin in the island of Jersey, this piece is from the Jersey collection. It is made from silver finish metal with enamels, acrylics and even wax. It is mounted in a silver wooden frame.
