LaCroixDeCuivre
Hand-crafted in the beautiful harbour village of St Aubin in the island of Jersey.
This piece is inspired by the crosses from the medieval period.
LaCroixDeCuivre (the copper cross) is a type of ‘crux gemmata’ (Latin for ‘jewelled cross’), in which the jewels denote a glorification of the cross. This piece features five Swarovski stones, including a large cross-shaped stone in the centre, set atop a manuscript.
This piece is crafted with metal and Swarovski crystals - this one is best seen for its Swarovski sparkle!
Framed in a repurposed frame, this piece measures 23cm x 18cm.
